First Sundays

First Sundays is an ongoing study group based on one of Thay's books. The group is currently studying Thay's book on the Lotus Sutra - "Opening the Heart of the Cosmos." Anyone is welcome to join in at any time, and you do not need to read the book ahead of time.

First Sundays are held the first Sunday of every month (except July - no meeting and September - 2nd Sunday) at the Cambridge Buddhist Association, 75 Sparks Street, Cambridge (map), from 6:30-8:30 pm.

First Sundays begin with sitting, walking, and sitting meditation followed by a tea ceremony. After tea a section of the book is read aloud, followed by dharma discussion.
